Tailblazers Policies
  1. Rates, coverage areas and company policies are subject to change at any time. For current rates please call 503.380.1464.
  2. 2-Day advance notice on Vacation Sitting Services is required. A surcharge will apply for less than a 2-day notice. You must give 24 hours notice on cancellation or you will be billed for 1-full day of services.
  3. A surcharge will apply for visits during holiday weeks or weekends.
  4. Payment for Daily Dog Walking is due weekly. Payments for Pet Sitting Services is due once you come home to your happy pet. (Deposits may be required for bookings of one week or greater. Deposits are non-refundable unless you give a 24-hour cancellation notice).
  5. Tailblazers accepts cash or check only. Please make checks payable to “Christine Crowley”. Receipts will be provided upon request.
  6. Tailblazers will provide no less than (3) stops a day for dogs or (1) stop every other day for cats.
  7. STRICTLY ENFORCED: Please call when you return home from your vacation so that I know you are home to take care of your pets. If someone other than you will be home first, please have them call. Please make sure you have your pet sitter contact information. If you cannot locate it, you may call me at 503.380.1464. If I do not hear from someone on the date you are expected home, I will continue to care for your pets. If I show up at your home and someone is there, you will still be charged for that visit.
  8. House keys will be labeled with pets’ names so they are not associated with your address. There will be a $3 fee on key pick up/drop off. If the key is picked up during a consultation, the pick up fee will be waived. Mailing your key back to you is free of charge.
  9. I do have service available 7 days a week. However, office hours to schedule services are Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm unless otherwise posted.
  10. There will be a $25 service charge on bounced checks. There will be a 5% monthly interest rate on accounts unpaid in excess of thirty days.
  11. Pet Sitting visits start no earlier than 6:30am and end no later than 8:30pm.
  12. You (the client) must provide pet carriers, leashes, pet food, medication and the appropriate supplies for care of your pets. If Tailblazers incur any cost, it is to be reimbursed immediately upon furnishing of the receipt.
  13. Tailblazers reserves the right to seek veterinary care for your pets’ well being. Pet owners will be responsible for any veterinary bills and the bills must be reimbursed to Tailblazers immediately.
  14. Flea infested pets must be treated before Tailblazers will care for your pets.
